Bridge User Manual

Bridge (bridgeapp.ai) is an intelligent next-generation workspace platform, designed specifically for IT and product teams, as well as small and medium-sized businesses. On-premise deployment with a lifetime license and full data ownership.

It unifies chats, tasks, documents, databases, and AI tools in a single space — helping teams work faster, smarter, and more securely, without the need to switch between multiple disconnected services.

Inviting a User

Access to Bridge is invitation-only. To invite a new member, a team user must:

  1. Go to the Users section and click the + button at the top of the panel.
  2. Enter the email address of the person you wish to invite (you can enter multiple emails, separated by commas).
  3. (Optional) Check the Invite as external users box if the invitee is an external collaborator.
  4. Click Send Invitation.

An invitation email with a unique registration link will be sent to the specified address.

Registration and First Login

  1. The user follows the link in the invitation email.
  2. A registration form opens, asking for:
    • First and last name
    • Password and password confirmation
    • Consent to the terms of use
  3. After completing the form and clicking Continue, the account is created.

The user is automatically redirected to the Home Page, where they can begin working.

Users: Team and External Users

Bridge supports two types of users—Team (internal) and External—allowing flexible access management and collaboration.

Internal Users (Team)

These are the core members of a Bridge workspace. They have access to all major sections:

  • Chats and threads
  • Projects and tasks
  • Documents
  • Databases
  • AI Agents
  • Settings, billing, profiles, etc.

Internal users can:

  • Create and edit tasks, documents, databases, and more
  • Manage projects and invite other users
  • Be assigned to tasks
  • Be mentioned in chats, documents, and tasks (@mention)

External Users

External users are invited for communication within specific chats only. Their access is limited to what they are explicitly added to. However, they can:

  • Receive email invitations and register on the platform
  • View only the chats they’re invited to
  • Send and receive messages
  • Join calls
  • View chat participants and attachments
  • Pin messages in chats
  • Be mentioned (with lower priority in @mention lists)

They cannot:

  • Create channels, threads, tasks, or documents
  • Manage participants
  • Access other sections (documents, projects, CRM, etc.)
  • Be assigned to tasks

System Settings and User Profile

Bridge offers a unified settings system for both global and personal preferences. In future versions, settings will be more role-based and permission-specific.

  • Free Plan – includes all essential features of the platform.
  • Paid Plans – Pro and Enterprise tiers that enhance functionality, security, and team collaboration tools.
  • Monthly and annual billing options are available.
  • Subscriptions are based on the number of active users in the workspace.

2. Storage

  • Each workspace includes 5 GB of free cloud storage.
  • Additional storage can be purchased in packages once the limit is exceeded.
  • Storage is used for attachments, documents, and files in databases.

3. AI Compute Credits

  • AI features such as generation, analysis, and data processing require Compute Credits.
  • Pay-as-you-go model — you top up your token balance as needed.
  • Real-time balance and usage tracking is available.

Cost Control

Bridge provides dashboards to monitor:
